Traveling to Canada With an Ovi Conviction

On Behalf of | Jun 12, 2020 | OVI Defense

I find that many of my clients and friends have questions about whether they can enter Canada if they have an OVI conviction.  It is a more than reasonable concern for many people and travel to Canada is geographically convenient, there is a plethora of quality entertainment, and the country provided some of the most spectacular natural beauty on the planet.  Additionally, many people have family and friends that reside in Canada, thus necessitating the need for travel.

The article I am linking to was released in Forbes in 2019.  I am not licensed to practice law in Canada and thus cannot provide legal advice, however, I think this article may shed light on many of the questions I hear frequently.  I cannot attest to the accuracy of the article or the author, unfortunately, but it is certainly an informative read.  I hope you enjoy it.
